New Tournament Rules

  • To register into a rummy tournament at adda52rummy.com, a player has to give a buy-in which is pre-decided. The time and date of the tournament are also pre-fixed and mentioned in the Promotions section and Game Lobby. Players who register for a tournament before start time are eligible to play. There is no late registration in rummy tournaments.
  • The prize of a rummy tournament at adda52rummy depends on the collective buy-in of that tournament and is clearly mentioned in the Tournament lobby.
  • 4 to 6 players can play on each table across the tournaments, and no table can accommodate more than 6 players.
  • As players get eliminated, tables merge to maintain balance of players on each table. However, on each table fixed number of hands will be played irrespective of the time taken to complete these hands. Other tables, which have already finished the fixed hands for that level, will have to wait for this particular table to finish before the next level starts.
  • All players start with the same chip stack referred to as the starting chip stack and have to continue to consolidate the chip stack. The objective is to be the final player standing with all the chips in play.
  • Starting chip stacks and threshold levels might change for each tourney and the same will be displayed in the tourney info panel.
  • If a player while playing a rummy tournament exits the room then he will be out of the tournament and cannot join back.
  • In new tournament format, no turn-time is pre-defined, it is variable.
  • If a player skips 2 consecutive turns, then he/she is put to sit-out mode. For such an inactive player, his turn will come as per game play. He will automatically receive the top card from the discarded pile and that same card will also be discarded back. He will continue to be on sit out mode as long as his chips are above the threshold limit.
  • All rummy tournaments of adda52rummy.com feature the 13 card rummy format.
  • All gameplay rules within a rummy tournament at adda52rummy.com are same as a rummy game of 13 card rummy.
  • Adda52rummy.com offers tournaments in freeroll and cash categories.
  • If a player decides to drop a hand, then the drop points will be equal to –Drop Points applicable X Multiplier at that time.
  • Tournament will be in different levels depending upon the number of players that have registered for that tournament. Since each level has a fixed number of hands that are played on each table, thus only those players who are above the threshold will move ahead and play in the next level.
  • There is a game termination timer of 8 minutes. If a particular hand does not get over in 8 minutes, then we terminate that particular hand and no points are given to any player.
